Chuck C. Taylor, Sr.

Chuck C. Taylor, Sr., 56, of 910 Winslow Ave., New Castle, died Saturday morning, December 3, 2005 at his home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born August 9, 1949 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the son of Charles and Jennie (Alley) Taylor, they precede him in death. He married Sandra L. Kroesen Taylor on March 4, 1984, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Taylor was a self-employed contractor in New Castle for 30 years, he also worked at Universal Refractories, Inc. as a mixer for 10 years. He was a member of the Unione Calabro Americana Society and the Moose Club. Mr. Taylor enjoyed hunting and was an avid NASCAR fan and locally owned and raced stock cars for many years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by, 1 daughter, Jodilynn Taylor of Point Pleasant, NJ, 1 son, Chuck C. Taylor, Jr. of New Castle, PA, 4 step-daughters, Margaret Montgomery of New Castle, PA, Tammy McLaren of New Castle, PA, Vicki Serrano of Long Beach, CA, and Michelle Shoaff of New Castle, PA, 1 step-son, Charles Wojciechowski of New Castle, PA, 3 brothers, DuWayne Taylor, Roy Taylor and Danny Taylor all of New Castle, PA, 1 sister, Jean Joseph of New Castle, PA, 2 grandchildren, 23 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Chuck E. Taylor, his son Edwin R. Taylor, his brother Reynolds Taylor, his brother Charles Taylor, his sister Reitha Taylor, 1 grandson, 2 step-granddaughters and one step-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Paul Price of Church of God will be officiating. Burial will be in the Kings Chapel Cemetery.
