Angeline C. D'Angelo

Angeline C. D'Angelo, 87, of Beckford Street, New Castle, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born September 3, 1926 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Louis and Marie (Capsulla) Carran. She was married to the late Louis D’Angelo, Sr. who died May 16, 1980. Mrs. D'Angelo was a teacher's aid for the Intermediate Unit IV retiring after 20 years. She was an active member of St. Vitus Church and the St. Vitus Ladies Guild. She loved to cook for her family.

She is survived by two sons, Louis D'Angelo, Jr. and his wife Christine of New Castle, and David J. D'Angelo and his wife Denise of Athens, GA, two grandsons, Vincent P. D’Angelo and his wife Sarah and Dominick D’Angelo, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Nick, and Charles Carran, and three sisters, Theresa Capellupo, Nellie Langlands, and Rose Germani.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Nick Vaskov of St. Vitus Church will be officiating.
