Jetta L. Sperdute

Jetta L. Sperdute, 81, of North Wayne Street, Mahoningtown, died Friday, March 14, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born December 18, 1932 in Hillsville, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late George and Anna (Cepro) Warren. She married Felix A. Sperdute on April 23, 1955, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Sperdute was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society, Christian Mothers of St. Margaret's Church and was a CCD teacher at St. Margaret's Church for many years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Gary Sperdute and his wife Pam of Mt. Jackson, Howard Sperdute and his wife Carla of New Castle, George Sperdute and his wife Rosanne of New Castle, and Cheryl Lamont and her husband Mark of New Castle, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her sister Ann Nuzzo.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father James Downs of St. Vincent de Paul Church will be officiating.
