Clarence D. Rickenbrode, 79, of Grandview Avenue, Union Township, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Butler Veterans Medical Center in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was born April 13, 1934 in Chicora, Pennsylvania a son of the late Clarence and June (Hayes) Rickenbrode. He was married to Margaret S. (Glassel) Rickenbrode on March 10, 1954, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Rickenbrode was a shipper for Commercial Intertech of Youngstown, OH retiring after 31 years. He was an Army veteran serving stateside. Mr. Rickenbrode was a member of VFW Post 315 and the Eagles Club and he enjoyed yardwork, watching TV, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Debbie Zong of Bullsworth, PA, one sister, Janet Miller of Chicora, PA, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow and William Rickenbrode, and four sisters, Jane Braho, Dottie Wotus, Ellen Rihel, and Sis Williams.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Paul Rihel will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in New Castle.
