James Dysart, 84, of Pepe Road , Hillsville, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at his home in Hillsville. He was born December 20, 1929 in Huntington , Pennsylvania the son of the late Samuel and Hazel ( Metz ) Dysard. He was married to the late Carol Ann (Cruise) Dysart who died in 1978. He then married the late Becky Lewis who died in 1993. Mr. Dysart was an over the road truck driver for over 20 years. He then was a security guard with Keystone Security for over 15 years. He supported many different charities including, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, Boystown, ASPCA, Hospitalized Veterans, and the US Olympic Committee. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by one daughter, Yalanda M. Shaner and her husband Robert of Hillsville, two sisters, Gloria Tucker and Melda English, both of New Castle , and three grandchildren, Aaron, and twins Cheyenne and Jonathon Shaner.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
