Frances L. Taylor

Frances L. Taylor, 71, of East Euclid Avenue, New Castle, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born May 12, 1942 in Hiawassee, Georgia a daughter of the late Robert L. and Nannie L. (McClure) Thompson. She married DuWayne A. Taylor on June 6, 1959, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Sheppard’s Lighthouse Church and was a greeter at the church. She enjoyed crocheting, working with her hands, flowers, birds and traveling. She also loved her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three brothers, Ernest, James, and Charlie Fred Thompson, all of Blairsville, GA, two sisters, Lena McCollum and Becky Picklesimer, both of Blairsville, GA, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert C. Taylor, two brother, Willard and George Thompson, and two sisters, Barbara Sosebee and Ruth Miller.
No visitation or service is scheduled. Burial will be in the Kings Chapel Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
