Patricia J. Williams

Patricia J. Williams, 72, of North Cedar Street, died Friday, May 2, 2014 at her residence in New Castle. She was born May 6, 1941 in Monongahela, PA, a daughter of the late William and Dolly (Kirk) McMullen. She was married to John E. William for 2 1/2 years, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Williams was a bus driver for Laurel School District retiring after 25 years. She then worked for Castle Management as a painter and wallpaperer. She was a member of Frist Assembly of God Church and was very active in the church. She also was a member of the American Legion Womens Auxillary in Sharon.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Eugene McMullen and his wife Lori of New Castle, one step daughter, Krista Sadler of New Castle, one step son, John C. Williams and his wife Reta of New Castle, three sisters, Florence Phillips of Ft. Smith, AR, Barbara Duncan of El Paso, TX, and Beatrice Houser and her husband Ron of Watkinsville, GA, and five grandchildren, Briana McMullen, Jordan McMullen, David Sadler, Austin Duffee and Nathan Duffee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Richards in 2001, one brother, John McMullen and one sister, Iola Essman.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the First Assembly of God Church on Pulaski Road.

A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 4:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church. Pastor Kenneth Meyers, Pastor Chad Stunkard and Rev. Don Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
