Carl A. DeCarbo, 83, of Duff’s Personal Care Home, New Castle, died Tuesday evening, August 5, 2008 at the Butler Veterans Medical Center in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was born October 23, 1924 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Anthony and Philomena (Venditto) DeCarbo. Mr. DeCarbo was a member of St. Vitus Church and worked at the Shenango China and the Johnson Bronze for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving with the Signal Corp.

He is survived by one sister, Dolores Walters of New Castle, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Angelo and Michael DeCarbo, and three sisters, Mary Priscilla Clark, Clara Damaskos, and Jane Cain.

A private funeral service will be held at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Robert Zajdel of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
