Albert J. Pallerino, Jr., 70, of Pleasant View Drive, Shenango Twp., died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home in New Castle. He was born October 6, 1943 in New Castle, the son of the late Albert and Margaret (Perrett) Pallerino. He married Diane R. (Schuster) Pallerino on October 2, 1967, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Pallerino was a steel worker for Babcock & Wilcox for 19 years, he then retired from Kopple Steel, IPSCO, after 20 years. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Churchg. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Era serving stateside and in Korea. Mr. Pallerino was an avid NASCAR, Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan.
He is survived by three children, Dawn M. Kosior and her husband Joseph of New Castle, Debra L. Hogan of New Castle, and Bryan J. Pallerino of New Castle, and one granddaughter, Chelsea Hogan.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Father William Siple of St. Joseph the Worker Church officiated. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
