Mary Jane Pagley

Mary Jane Pagley, 80, of West Moody Avenue, New Castle, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born June 7, 1934 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Sam and Nettie (Pauline) Marcotullio. She married Louis P. Pagley, Sr. on June 26, 1954, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Pagley was co-owner and operator of the Colonial Tavern for 27 years. She enjoyed bingo, playing Yahtzee with her aunts and cousins, and bowling. She bowled every Wednesday morning in a women's league. She also loved spending time with her family and having friends over and entertaining.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Louis P. Pagley, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Hermitage, two brothers, Frank and Sam Marcotullio of New Castle, and two grandchildren, Dominic and Jenna Pagley of Hermitage.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father William Siple of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:309 AM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
