Watfa Essa, 67, of 915 Beckford St., New Castle, died Tuesday morning, December 20, 2005 at her home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born June 23, 1938 in Mazraa al Sharkia, Palestine, the daughter of Ali and Miriam (Shalaby) Ejak, they precede her in death. She was married to Mohamed Essa, who died February 15, 1983. Mrs. Essa was a self-employed baker for 20 years and a member of the Islamic Society of Greater New Castle.
She is survived by 2 sons, Reyad Essa of St. Petersburg, FL, and Jamile Essa of Gilbert, AZ, 1 daughter, Wadade Essa of New Castle, PA, 1 brother, Naiem Ejak of Amman, Jordan, 2 sisters, Yousra Ejak and Aysha Ejak both of Mazraa al Sharkia, Palestine, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother Fathi Ejak, and her sister Aesha Ejak.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
Janazah Prayer Services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery.
