Carol Ann King

Carol Ann King, 72, of Perry Highway, New Castle, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born August 3, 1941 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Gayle and Jane (Davison) Pitzer. She married Richard E. King on October 20, 1983, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. King was a Lawrence County Correctional Officer retiring after 14 years. Prior to that she worked at Loblows and Value King Grocery Store. Mrs. King enjoyed cooking, traveling and bowling.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Kathy L. Fennick and her husband Gary of Redwood City, CA and Scott L. McFarland of New Castle, four step-children, Jodie Sizer and her husband Todd of New Castle, Rochelle Coblentz of Butler, Carolyn Trott and her husband Scott of New Castle and Melissa Rondeau and her husband Scott of New Castle, two sisters, Gale ‘Sis’ List of New Castle and Kimberly Whiteside of New Castle, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.

A funeral service will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
