Mary Ann Argiro

Mary Ann Argiro, 82, of North Cedar Street, New Castle, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born May 29, 1932 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Samuel and Florence (Canal) Domenick. She was married to the late Joseph S. Argiro, Sr. who died June 3, 2006. Mrs. Argiro was a beautician at Mary Ann and Katherine Beauty Shop in New Castle for 20 years. She enjoyed watching TV, playing bingo and she loved her dog Oscar, her grandchildren, and her family.
She is survived by one son, Samuel J. Argiro and his wife Nancy of New Castle, five grandchildren, Gregory Argiro, Danny Argiro, Stacie Yemma, Torry Argiro, and Joey Argiro, and one great grandson, Marco Yemma.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Joseph S. Argiro, Jr., and her sister Wanda Peluso.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Blessing services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
