Rita L. Cwynar, 75, of Edison Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Chartes St., New Castle, died Saturday morning, August 23, 2008 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born December 20, 1932 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late James and Irene (Pompane) Malecki. She was married to Clement V. Cwynar who died on March 17, 2002. Mrs. Cwynar was a nurses aide at Haven N.H., Golden Hill N.H. and St. Francis Hospital for many years. She was a Democratic Committee Woman for the 8th Ward 4th District and was an avid reader.
A Private funeral service will be held at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ty Sabella will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
