Donald H. Colucci

Donald H. Colucci, 80, of Anne Drive, New Castle, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at his home in New Castle. He was born August 30, 1933 in New Castle, a son of the late Albert and Julia (Cioffi) Colucci. He married Annette M. (Mastrian) Colucci on June 30, 1966, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Colucci was a self-employed contractor for over 50 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Era serving as an MP with the 82nd Airborne. Mr. Colucci was an avid sports fan and loved watching his son and grandson play baseball and basketball and his granddaughters cheer. He also loved traveling with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald P. Colucci and his wife Kay of New Castle, one brother, Harry Colucci of New Castle, and three grandchildren, Donald P. Colucci, Jr., Gabriella A. Colucci, and Tori K. Colucci.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Henry Andrae of Sacred Heart Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the cemetery. Entombment will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
