Albina N. Piccirillo

Albina N. Piccirillo, 81, of E. Fairmont Ave., New Castle, died Tuesday morning, September 9, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born March 1, 1927 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Pasquale and Angela (DiMasi) DiThomas. She married Peter A. Piccirillo on February 17, 1949, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Piccirillo retired as a secretary from the New Castle Area School System after over 30 years of service.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, two daughters, Linda Ann Piccirillo-Smith and husband James of Munroe Falls, OH, and Julie Karen Miller and husband Gary of Oakmont, PA, one sister, Phyllis Shaeffer of Columbus, OH, three grandsons, David and Adam Ranucci and Justin Miller and one great grandson, Johnathan Ranucci..

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bartolommeo DiThomas, and two sisters, Rose Ann DiThomas and Lucy Ann Houston.

Visitation will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 10 am to 11 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Frank Erdeljac will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
