Maria Milito, 93, of East Division Street, New Castle, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born February 9, 1921 in Calabria, Italy, a daughter of the late Patsy and Rose DeStefano. She was married to the late Joseph Milito who died in 1963. Mrs. Milito was a cook and kitchen help at the Eagles Club for over 19 years and she was a member of St. Vitus Church.
She is survived by a friend.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Michael Ackerman of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
