Nicholas F. Lovaglio

Nicholas F. Lovaglio, 62, of Harlansburg RD, New Castle, died Wednesday evening, October 8, 2008 after a short illness. He was born July 12, 1946 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of Nicholas and Nellie (Cercell) Lovaglio. His father precedes him in death, his mother survives in New Castle. He married Bernadette M. (Rosati) Lovaglio on October 27, 1973, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Lovaglio was a roller at Blair Strip Steel retiring after 36 years. He enjoyed gardening and was known for his garlic which he sold for many years. Mr. Lovaglio was an avid hunter and enjoyed tinkering with classic cars. He will be remember most for the pride he took in protecting and providing for his family.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by, one daughter, Michelle M. Lovaglio of New Castle, PA, and one son, Nic D. Lovaglio of Baltimore, MD.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph E. Lovaglio.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 4 pm to 7 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the Parkside Cemetery.
