Anthony M. Domenick, 88, of West Pearl Street, New Castle, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at his home in New Castle. He was born March 16, 1926 in New Castle, a son of the late Frank and Jeanette (Matteo) Domenick. He married Barbara L. (Dean) Domenick on September 22, 1962, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Domenick was a laborer at Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 25 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific and was part of the evacuation of the Bikini Atoll. He was a member of the St. Margaret's Club and the Wabash Bears. He loved fishing, crossword puzzles, watching baseball and college football and going to the casinos. He also loved spending time with his dogs.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Brenda A. Domenick Lewis and her husband Ronald of New Castle, and two granddaughters, Brittany Rausch and Brittany Lewis, both of New Castle.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Toni Lynn Domenick, three brothers, Louis, Matthew, and John Domenick, and two sisters Helen Padice and Martha Palmiro.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 5 PM to 7 PM.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. John Rossi will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery.
