Eleanore M. Cozza

Eleanore M. Cozza, 96, of Jameson Place, New Castle, died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Jameson Care Center in New Castle. She was born June 29, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois a daughter of the late Luigi and Rose (Turano) Cozza. Ms. Cozza was a book keeper and clerk at the Medical Center Pharmacy, retiring after 30 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and served 2 1/2 years in the Women's Army Corp. during World War II.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Angelo, Joseph, Albert, Eugene, and Frank Cozza, and one sister, Mary Dominicis.
Private services will be held at William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
