Ralph L. Morella

Ralph L. Morella, 64, of Wooley Avenue, New Castle, died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his home in New Castle. He was born October 15, 1950 in New Castle, the son of the late Thomas and Edith (Rossi) Morella. Mr. Morella worked for the City of New Castle in Public Works retiring after 35 years. He was a sports enthusiast and loved the Steelers and Penn State. He also loved golfing, bowling and playing softball and horseracing and Ladbrooks. Mr. Morella attended morning breakfast at Hazels and Eat N Park every morning and he loved his dog Sophie.

He is survived by his wife Judith D. (Price) Morella, two sisters, Angela Quarterson of New Castle, and Cindy Russo and her fiance Mark Hunyadi of New Castle, five nieces and nephews, Raeann Quarterson, Kylee Quarterson, Adrien Neill, Randy Russo, Nikki Lynn Russo, and four great nieces and nephews, Van Neill, Makenzie Neill, Mitchell Russo, and Drew Russo.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Blessing services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
