Ann V. Puz

Ann V. Puz, 87, of W. North St., New Castle, formerly of Bessemer, PA, died Friday morning, October 17, 2008 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born March 7, 1921 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Peter and Francis (Bartolone) Tomasello. She was married to Leon L. Puz who died on June 2, 2000. Mrs. Puz was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bessemer and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by three sons, Darl L. Puz and wife Mary Jane of Beaver, PA, Larry Puz and wife Jackie of New Bern, NC, and Edwin Puz of Tucson, AZ, one brother, Frank Tomasello of New Castle, PA, two granddaughters, four great grandsons and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Tomasello and one sister, Grace DeRosa.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2008 at 11:30 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Gary Arnold of Assembly of God Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery in New Castle.
