Nancy Ann Vitale

Nancy Ann Vitale, 94, of 1608 Ridge Ave., New Castle, formerly of Lutton St., died Friday afternoon, January 13, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born July 26, 1911 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Philip and Maria (Ginocchi) Pagley, they precede her in death. She was married to Rocco J. Vitale, Sr. who died May 28, 1977. Mrs. Vitale worked in the office of Vitale Fireworks with her husband for many years. She loved her family and gardening and cooking.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Mary Jo) Rossman of New Castle, PA, 1 sister, Martha Cassella of New Castle, PA, 8 grandchildren, Bernard & Wife Sandee Rossman of Pittsburgh, PA, Mary Lynn & Husband Jerry Lapikas of Youngstown, OH, Lisa French of Virginia, Thomas & Wife Lisa Rossman of Sydney, OH, Christine & Husband Joseph Palastro of Pittsburgh, PA, Lynn & Husband Brian Hamed of New Castle, Stephen & Wife Nicole Vitale of New Castle and Rocco J. Vitale, III of New Orleans, LA and 13 great grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle and Ryan Rossman, Mark Lapikas, Laura and Joanna French, Kathryn, Michael and David Rossman, Natalie Palastro, Jenna Hamed, and Mia and Zoe Vitale.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Rocco J. Vitale, Jr., her brother Joseph Pagley, and her sister Josephine Pagley.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday from 5-8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 16, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
