Minnie Lelii

Minnie Lelii, 90, of Addis Street, New Castle, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born May 16, 1924 in Ellwood City, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Grace (Verola) Parise. She married Donald Lelii in October 1948, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Lelii was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church. She was an active volunteer at the church and enjoyed reading and crocheting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lauren Matteo and her husband Harlan of New Castle and Valerie Matteo of Pittsburgh, one brother, Joe Parise of Ellwood City, and four grandchildren, Cole Matteo, Risa Formisano, Jay Donald Matteo and Vincent Matteo.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Armand and Frank Parise, and three sisters, Mary Izzo, Mae Pannuncio, and Magdalegna Parise.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Blessing services will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father William Siple of St. Joseph the Worker Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
