Anna M. Borrelli

Anna M. Borrelli, 82, of 1510 Thorpe St., New Castle, died Saturday evening, January 14, 2006 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born March 23, 1923 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Nick and Philomena (Frank) Firmi, they precede her in death. She was married to Joseph F. Borrelli who died in 1985. Mrs. Borrelli worked for the Johnson Bronze making bushings and at NEPCO as a stacker for many years. She was a member of the St. Joseph the Worker Church.

She is survived by 2 brothers, Eugene Firmi and his wife Sally and Augustine Firrmi both of New Castle, PA, 3 sisters, Mrs. Frank (Rosemary) D'Augostine of New Castle, PA, Margaret Fiorelli of Cleveland, OH, and Mrs. Buster (Martha) Cotelesse of New Castle, PA, and 1 grandson, Travis Borrelli of New Castle, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Frances ‘Butch’ Borrelli, her brother Samuel Firmi, and her sister Viola Hamett.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-9 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Father Robert Schweitzer of St. Joseph the Worker Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
