Jennie Ludovici

Jennie Ludovici, 96, of East Friendship Street, New Castle, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born June 24, 1918 in Italy, a daughter of the late Frank and Theolinda (Manila) Ludovici. Miss Ludovici was a Dietician at Jameson Memorial Hospital retiring after 35 years. She also worked at the Pants Factory as a sewer for 5 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and making crafts. Miss Ludovici helped with Meals on Wheels and did activities at Epworth Church and First Presbyterian Church Creation Center.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Theresa Lucovici of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Marks, two brothers, Joseph and Edward Ludovici, and twin sisters.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Richard Nero will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens in New Castle.
