Charlotte M. Bohizic

Charlotte M. Bohizic, 66, of Decorath Lane, New Castle, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born October 8, 1948 in New Castle, a daughter of the late George and Margaret (Flick) Bohizic. Miss Bohizic worked at the Lawrence County Courthouse in maintenance retiring after over 20 years. She also worked at Remacor for 4 years in maintenance. She was a member of the CG's, and enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson Motorcycle, playing cards with her family and collecting Betty Boop and Harley Davidson memorabilia. She was an avid sports fan and loved cats, especially her cat Snaggy.

She is survived by two brothers, Joseph and George Bohizic, Jr., both of New Castle, three sisters, Sharon McLaren and Karen Meeks of New Castle, and Georgine Robertson of Glen Ford, OH, a number of nieces and nephews and her best friends, Patty List and Russell Black.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Arlene Dawson, Velma Crowl, Bernice Gransky, and Barbara Shell.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 4 PM to 5 PM.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frederick Gilbert of Independent Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
