Janet Ruth Mclaren

Janet Ruth McLaren, 64, of Erie Avenue, New Castle, died Saturday afternoon, November 8, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born September 12, 1944 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Harold and Antionetta (Favorite) Leasure. She married John William McLaren, Sr. on November 30, 1959, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. McLaren was a homemaker and a member of the Hoover Heights Church. She enjoyed bowling and gardening and loved to travel. Mrs. McLaren also enjoyed all of the holidays and spending time with the children.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, two daughters, Sherry R. Williams and Annette M. Fish and her husband Ernie, both of New Castle, PA, three sons, John William McLaren, Jr. and Edwin R. McLaren and wife Dina, both of New Castle, PA, and Bryan A. McLaren of New Wilmington, PA, two brothers, Daniel Leasure of Florence, AL, and Harold Leasure of Ocala, FL, two sisters, Florence Buono of Pembroke Pines, FL and Loretta Leasure of Florida, fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother Rocco Leasure.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 11:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Larry Llewellyn of Hoover Heights Church and Rev. Luke Rambo of Independent Wesleyan Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
