Ralph F. Stickle

Ralph F. Stickle, 88, of Brookwood Road, Boardman, OH, formerly of New Castle, PA, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He was born August 24, 1926 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Fred and Anna (Wilkinson) Stickle. He was married to the late Lenore A. (Dukes) Stickle who died April 28, 2010. Mr. Stickle was an installer for Bell Telephone retiring after over 25 years. He was a veteran of the Navy during World War II. Mr. Stickle enjoyed fishing, especially in Canada with friends, bowling and loved old and new cars and restoring old cars. He was a member of the Honor Roll of Bell of PA, the Pioneer's Club, Eagles and Elks Club.
He is survived by two daughters, Rene' A. Stickle and her companion Richard Dunn of New Castle, PA, and Lisa Noel Stickle and her husband Willie Brader of Boardman, OH, his caregiver of four years, Patty Bansberg, and his beloved dogs, Yanni, otherwise known as Johnny and Truffles.
He was preceded in death his brother Thomas Stickle.
Private services will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, New Castle.
