James C. Boomhower

James C. Boomhower, 53, of Fern St., New Castle, died Tuesday evening, November 18, 2008 at his home in New Castle. He was born June 15, 1955 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late James Boomhower and Marian (Williams) Boomhower Harville. He married Deborah D. (Keagle) Boomhower on June 16, 1997, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Boomhower was a technician at NASCO in Pittsburgh, PA for 2 years. He also was a street vendor for the New Castle News for 10 years. Mr. Boomhower enjoyed music, singing and loved playing the guitar. He was an avid Beatles fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one son, Dylan J. Boomhower of Grove City, PA, two daughters, Melody E. Murray of Butler, PA, and Lyric Yvonne Carter of New Castle, PA, one step-daughter, Jenny Strohecker of New Castle, PA, one brother, Danny K. Boomhower of Apple Valley, CA, his step-father, Walter Harville of Azusa, CA, his former wife, Nancy Mahoney of Grove City, PA, four grandchildren, Sapphire Welka, Matthew Mackalica, Trevor Murray, and Alexis Murray and three step-grandchildren, Krystal, Cheyanne and Brandon.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Marueen Clark will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
