Margaret A. Peluso

Margaret A. Peluso, 99, of Drespling Lane, New Castle, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at her home in New Castle. She was born June 22, 1915 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Mongiello) Thomas. She was married to the late Sylvester A. Peluso who died August 17, 2010. Mrs. Peluso was a homemaker and a member of St. Vitus Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and knitting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Eugene V. Peluso and Ron T. Peluso and his wife Karen of New Castle, and two grandsons, Richard M. Peluso and Geoffrey A. Peluso.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Rose Lascola, Anna Thomas, Genevieve Quarella, and Ester Fair.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Michael Ackerman of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Entombment will be in the Parkside Cemetery.
