Rose Mary Micco

Rose Mary Micco, 85, of Lynn St., New Castle, formerly of Pearson St., died Sunday evening, November 30, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born February 2, 1923 in Forrestville, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Rocco Gervase and Mary (Casey) Accica. She was married to Alex C. Micco who died June 6, 1994. Mrs. Micco was a floor supervisor at the Johnson Bronze for 15 years. She was a member of the St. Vitus Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and dancing. She also loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Baxter and her husband Gary and Jacalyn Myers and her husband Arthur ‘Butch’ both of New Castle, PA, one sister, Mary Gillette of New Castle, PA, three grandchildren, Lisa Myers, Jason Myers and his wife Crystal, and Ashley Baxter, and three great grandchildren, Devin Myers, Dominique Myers and Jason Myers, Jr.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Gervase.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum.
