Robert W. English, 53, of Shadyside St., New Castle, died Monday evening, December 1, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. He was born November 15, 1955 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Robert and Naomi (Fuleno) English. He was married to Sharon (McCurdy) English who died on July 5, 2005. Mr. English enjoyed bingo, and watching New Castle High School basketball and football and enjoyed pro football and basketball.
He is survived by two sons, Robert English of Pittsburgh, PA, and Charles C. English of New Castle, PA, twin daughters, Bobbi Jo English and Raylynn English, both of New Castle, PA, one sister, Deborah Miller and her husband Charles of New Castle, PA, four grandchildren and two nieces.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis English and Daniel English.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 10am to 12pm.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 12:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Dennis A. Blauser of Trinity Episcopal Church will be officiating.
