Flossie Louise Llewellyn

Flossie Louise Llewellyn, 75, of Jackson Ave., New Castle, died Friday morning, December 5, 2008 at her home in New Castle. She was born February 3, 1933 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late William and Augusta (Prediger) Jones. She married Robert S. Llewellyn on October 20, 1951, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Llewellyn was a member of the Hoover Heights Church and was a waitress at the PO Lunch for over 10 years. She will be sadly missed by her children and grandchildren who she loved spending time with.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, four daughters, Marjorie Gavin of Amsterdam, NY, Marlea Llewellyn of Sugar Hill, GA, Diana McCurdy and Brenda Roberts both of New Castle, PA, four sons, Bryan Llewellyn of Cocoa, FL, Jerry Llewellyn of Amsterdam, NY, R. Scott Llewellyn of Tampa, FL, and Robert M. Llewellyn of Greenville, SC, two brothers, Donald Jones and Thomas Jones both of New Castle, PA, one sister, June Wiggington of Seabring, FL, twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Benjamin, David, Homer, Richard, Robert, and William Jones, and three sisters, Eva Armino, Betty Harkless, and Ann Williams.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, December 7, 2008 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2008 at 10:00 am at Hoover Heights Church. Rev. Larry Llewellyn of Hoover Heights Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Entombment will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
