Josephine M. Larocco

Josephine M. LaRocco, 88, of South Jefferson Street, New Castle, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home in New Castle. She was born June 7, 1926 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Frank and Constance (Cast) LaRocco. Miss LaRocco was a cashier at Lobaws Supermarket for many years, she also worked at Shenango China. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and enjoyed spending time with family and her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by one brother, Frank ‘Babe’ LaRocco and his wife Sandy of New Castle, her companion, Dante Nocera of New Castle, and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Melito and Rose Wartluft.
A private mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vitus Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
