William Frank Robinson, 63, of West Washington Street, New Castle, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home in New Castle. He was born August 4, 1951 in New Castle, a son of the late Robert Robinson and LaBella (Nivens) Robinson, his mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Robinson was a graduate of Vo-Tech and he retired from Enterprise Rent-a-Car in 2014. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. on March 10, 1970 and had an Honorable Discharge in 1974 as a Sargent, he served his country in the Vietnam Conflict during his time in the Marine Corps.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, three children, Michael Peace of Youngstown, OH, David Bunnell of New Castle, and Sara Nicole Robinson of New Castle, and four grandchildren, three brothers, Robert Robinson, Jr. of Youngstown, OH, Omar Robinson and his wife Tanya of Maryland, and James Robinson and his wife Debbie of New Castle, two aunts, Margaret ‘Lovie’ Rivers of Youngstown, OH and Jaqueline Gore of Campbell, OH, one uncle Robert E. Burnett and wife Margie of New Castle, and a host of nieces and nephews, his fiancé, Dorothy Bunnell and a host of cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Dicey Nievens and De’Ealka Higgs Burnett and Omar Burnett, and great grandmother, Beatrice Hill.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Methodist Cemetery in New Castle.
