Dorothy E. Lentz

Dorothy E. Lentz, 94, of Heritage Drive, Jamestown, PA, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born July 23, 1920 in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Harry and Hanna (Cox) Baker. She was married to the late Warren H. Lentz who died September 11, 1977. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Wilamina Baker. Mrs. Lentz was a clerk at Buy Wise in East Hills, PA for a number of years. She loved gardening and was a member of the Jamestown Garden Club. She was also past Royal Matron of the Order of Amaranths of Allegheny County. She also loved taking care of her house and her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Nora Gales and her husband Thomas of New Castle, PA, two sons, Warren Lentz of Memphis, TN, and Bruce Lentz and his wife Carol Maxim Lentz of Pittsburgh, PA, one granddaughter, Lori Gales, and two great grandson, Cameron Martwinski and Connor Gales.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Stewart, Clarence, and Lealand Baker, and two sisters, Helen Davis and Margaret Kirkpatrick.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, New Castle, PA.
