Jennie Albert, 88, of Edison Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Croton Ave., New Castle, died Sunday morning, December 14, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born December 25, 1919 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Tom and Elizabeth (Mike) Albert. Ms. Albert was a nurses aide at the Haven Nursing Home for many years. She enjoyed dancing and cooking.
She is survived by one brother, George Albert of Madison Heights, MI, one sister, Delores Morrison of Ellwood City, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Abdo Albert, and two sisters, Mary Albert and Freda Angelo.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 5:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Ron Eade of Church of Genesis will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
