Robert W. McKinney, 53, of Moravia Road, Enon Valley, died Monday, April 6, 2015 at his home in Enon Valley. He was born December 13, 1961 in New Castle, a son of the late Harold and Laverene (Zechel) McKinney. He was married to Kathy M. (McLaren) McKinney on September 27, 1986. She survives in Enon Valley. Mr. McKinney was a self-employed carpenter for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and gardening and yard work and was an avid Steelers fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Kevin R. McKinney and his wife Julie of Durham, NC, and Keshia L. Shirley and her husband Ronald of Struthers, OH, one brother, Richard McKinney of New Castle, four sisters, Shirley Hamm of Florida, Charlotte Patrick of North Carolina, Shelah McCall and her husband Jim of Sheffield, PA, and Sally York and her husband Mike of Illinois, and one granddaughter, Kenzie McKinney.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4 PM to 6 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating.
