Decimo D. Pollio

Decimo D. Pollio, 75, of S. First St., Mahoningtown, died Thursday afternoon, December 25, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. He was born May 5, 1933 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Alessandor and Antoinetta (Napolitano) Pollio. Mr. Pollio was a self-employed parking lot attendant at Peoples Bank for many years in downtown New Castle. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish and a lifelong resident of Mahoningtown, he enjoyed reading and spending time with his sister Jessie's kids.
He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Joseph, Michael, Samuel, Paul, Frank, and Alessandro Pollio, and three sisters, Mary Trott, Justine Norris, and Beatrice Pollio.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Kenneth Keene of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
