Barbara Ann Brown

Barbara Ann Brown, 42, of E. Cherry St., New Castle, died Sunday morning, December 28, 2008 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born January 14, 1966 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of Perry and Shirley (Ballew) Christy, they survive in New Castle. She married Michael Todd Brown on February 9, 1984, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and worked part-time at Trader Horn as a service person and the Salvation Army as a clerk. She enjoyed camping, fishing and the outdoors and spending time with family and friends by the fire with a cold beer.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by, two daughters, Michele A. Brown and Bobbijoe L. Brown, both of New Castle, PA, one son, Michael T. Brown, Jr. of New Castle, PA, and three sisters, Diana L. Pettit of Franklin, PA, Christine L. Dillow of Mishawaka, IN, and Zoeann E.L. Christy of New Castle, PA.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 8:00 pm at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, Inc.. Rev. Robert Strobel of Evangel Community Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
