Roxine L. Apicelli

Roxine L. Apicelli, 65, of Huron Ave., New Castle, died Sunday afternoon, January 4, 2009 at Avalon Nursing Center in New Castle. She was born December 18, 1943 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Samuel and Susie (Pagley) Rozzi. She has been married to Michael Apicelli, Jr. for 36 years, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Apicelli was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Avalon Nursing Center for 8 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by, one daughter, Beth Heath of New Castle, PA, one son, Carl Mefferd of New Castle, PA, one sister, Judy Pace of New Castle, PA, six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Blessing services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 6:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Joseph Hadgkiss will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
