Margaret Moses

Margaret Moses, 90, of Cunningham Avenue, New Castle, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born September 17, 1924 in New Kensington, PA, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Salmur) Mateska. She was married to the late Waddy Moses, Sr. who died March 23, 2006. Mrs. Moses was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. She also collected brass and camels and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by seven children, Beverly Ann Worosz of Las Vegas, NV, Freddie Abraham of Omaha, NB, Tammy Abraham of New Castle, Jamie Depfer of San Diego, CA, Mahfouz ‘Mutzy’ Abraham of New Castle, Waddy J. Moses, Jr. of New Castle, and Maxine Pruett of Pace, FL, one brother, William Mateska of Curtisville, PA, one sister, Irene Mateska of Curtisville, PA, sixteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, three brothers, Steve, Joseph and John Mateska and four sisters, Helen Maholic, Pauline Mateska, Annie Myers and Mary Mateska.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 4 PM to 5 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 5:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Alonzo Watters of Victory Christian Center will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
