Rose L. Valenti

Rose L. Valenti, 82, of Annette Dr., New Castle, formerly of Skyview Tower, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born March 20, 1926 in Sykesville, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Miller) Valenti. Ms. Valenti was a Decorator at Shenango China retiring after 40 years. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church and loved her church and to travel.
She is survived by one sister, Angeline Wimer of Stow, OH and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Samuel Valenti, and three sisters, Grace Harvey, Susie Parks, and Carmella Valenti.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 12:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Dennis A. Blauser of Trinity Episcopal Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
