Victor A. ‘Pal’ ‘Bibbers’ Rosati, 94, of Riverside Apartments, New Castle, died Wednesday evening, January 14, 2009 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born November 9, 1914 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late John and Theodora (Tomasetti) Rosati. He was married to Carmella (Cutri) Rosati who died on April 12, 1997. Mr. Rosati was a Caster at the Universal Rundle retiring after 38 years. He was a member of the St. Vitus Church, Sons of Italy and a social member of the Croton Dukes. Mr. Rosati was also an avid golfer.

He is survived by three sons, John Rosati and his wife Lena, Anthony Rosati and his wife Mary Ann, and Vincent Rosati and his wife Laurell, all of New Castle, PA, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Rosati, two sisters, Louise Rispoli, and Helen Donofrio, and one grandson.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2009 from 4 to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
