Louis Anthony Petronelis

Louis Anthony Petronelis, 67, of S. Lee Ave., New Castle, died Sunday morning, January 18, 2009 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. He was born January 2, 1942 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Anthony and Mary (Calandros) Petronelis. He married Lorraine (Casciaso) Petronelis on September 9, 1961, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Petronelis was a union painter for Bochert Brothers for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam and a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion.

He is survived by, three daughters, Lori A. Petronelis, Liane M. Ferrese and her husband Brian, and Hope M. Dottle, all of New Castle, PA, two brothers, Russell and George Petronelis, both of New Castle, PA, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 12 pm to 2 pm.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frederick Gilbert of Independent Methodist Church will be officiating. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform a Military Funeral Service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
