Carol S. Sanders, 77, of Florence, KY, formerly of Wabash Avenue, Mahoningtown, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Florence, Kentucky. She was born July 21, 1937 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Charles and Marie Bucker. Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and an avid Steelers fan. She loved taking care of her children and grandchildren and spending time with her sister.
She is survived by two children, Kevin Kelly and his fiancé Marylon Rose of Sacramento, CA, and Kirby Thompson of Burlington, KY, one brother, Charles Bucker of New Castle, one sister, Mary Ann Costello of Niles, OH, two grandchildren, Ryan Thompson and Chase Thompson, and two step-grandchildren, Nicholas Mar and Kendal Mar.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Bucker.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Cemetery. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
