Albert M. 'Sonny' Frank

Albert M. 'Sonny' Frank, 59, of Erie Street, Edinburg, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving companion and family, Monday, August 24, 2015. He was born in New Castle on August 15, 1956, a son of the late Albert Frank and Mary (Wardle) Watt. His mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Frank was an Army veteran serving in Germany for four years during peacetime. He was also a member of the Army National Guard for several more years. He enjoyed sitting by the bonfire and watching cowboy movies, he loved his pets and loved being with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his companion of 36 years, Valerie Carbone, one brother, Robert Frank and his wife Karen of North Charleston, SC, two sisters, Deborah Heath and her husband Robert of New Castle and Catherine Biddle and her husband Richard of New Castle, one step-brother, Donald Kemerer and his wife Renee of New Castle, one step-sister, Luann Peters and her husband Robert of Jeannette, PA, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Rebecca Frank and his step-father, Ira Watt.
A private funeral service will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
