Paul T. Jefferson

Paul T. Jefferson, 73, of Patterson Avenue, New Castle, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at his home in New Castle. He was born December 31, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio a son of the late Eddie and Paula (Yarborough) Jefferson. He was married to Susan J. (Greenawalt) Jefferson on August 7, 1986, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Jefferson worked in maintenance at General Motors, Lordstown retiring after 40 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Jaleesa Jefferson and her fiancé Matthew Peters of New Castle, three step-children, Ernie Fish, Jr. and his companion Carla Lazar of New Castle, Kisha Napier and her husband William of New Castle, and Lawrence Austin, Jr. of New Castle, two sisters, Joyce Miller and Angie Future, both of Cleveland, OH, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl, Eddie, Carl and Ronald Jefferson.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 2 PM to 4 PM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor David Young of Prevailing Word World Outreach Center will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
