Vanessa Mcvay

Vanessa McVay, 58, of Terrace Polk Center, Polk, PA, formerly of New Castle, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. She was born November 13, 1956 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Earl McVay and Edith (Aquillo) McVay, her mother survives in New Castle. Miss McVay enjoyed books, balloons and being around people. She also enjoyed going on walks and was very loving.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by five brothers, Patrick McVay of New Castle, Dennis McVay of New Castle, John McVay of Wexford, PA, Michael McVay of New Castle, and Kenneth McVay of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother David McVay.
Private services were held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
